Turkey thigh with rosemary, sage and baked vegetables


Ingredients:
- one turkey thigh (about 1 kg)
- two sprigs rosemary (or dried)
- two sprigs sage (or dry)
- ½ bunch of parsley
- three bay leaves
- 5-6 cloves of garlic
- 8 medium potatoes
- two large red onions
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
- freshly ground pepper.

Total cooking time: approx. 180 min.

Servings: 4

Preparation:
1.Wash the meat.
2.Chopped  rosemary leaves finely, sage and parsley. Seasoned the meat with salt, pepper, rosemary, sage parsley and make a massage to the turkey.
3.Preheat the oven at 200 degrees. In a tray with baking paper or ceramic pot sit the turkey with skin side down and put him the oven. Leave for about 30 minutes.
4.Peel the potatoes, onions, garlic. Then cut the potatoes and onions in four.
5.Put the potatoes and onions around the turkey. Make some small holes in meat and then put bay leaves and garlic inside. Seasoned well with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle all over with olive oil. Reduce the heat to 180 degrees and wait for another 130 minutes until the meat is cooked and take a browned color.
