Cannelloni with spinach, ricotta and tomato sauce


I propose you a recipe that you'll love and you want to do it soon.

Ingredients:
- 8 lasagne sheets
- a medium white onion
- 3-4 garlic cloves
- fresh oregano / dry
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 200-300 g spinach
- 150 g ricotta
- 4 good quality medium tomatoes
- a handful fresh basil
- 125 g mozzarella
- salt
- pepper.

Total cooking time: approx. 90 minutes

Servings: 3

Preparation:
1.Boil the lasagna sheets and then take them out on a plate to cool down.
2.In a pan with olive oil cook chopped onion until the color is changed. Add garlic and oregano (both as finely chopped), butter and leave until it melts. Then we put the spinach, seasoned with salt, pepper and let the water drop.
3. Set lasagna sheets (side by side) on a kitchen countertop or a very clean table to make the filling.  Put a layer of spinach, one of ricotta, salt, pepper, half the parmesan and roll the sheets.
4.Prepare the sauce: In a blender put the tomatoes (cut in half) , basil, salt, pepper and blitz until it becomes a paste.
5.In pan or baking dish put tomato sauce, cannelloni and on top mozzarella slices and remaining Parmesan.
6.Preheat the oven. Put the pan in the oven for 30-40 minutes until nicely browned.
