Pork tongue with red sauce


Ingredients:
- 1 kg of pork tongue
- 1 piece of leek
- 500 g tomato sauce
- 3 carrots
- an onion
- 50 g butter
- 5-6 pickles
- salt
- pepper.

Total cooking time: approx. 120 minutes

Serving: 4

Preparation:
1.Wash and clean the tongue. Boil the tongue for about 1 hour. After that cut her into slices.
2 Prepare the vegetables: cut the onion very finely and carrots, leeks into rings. In a pan melt the butter and add the onions, carrots, leeks. Cook for 5 minutes. Add the tomato sauce, seasoned with salt and pepper. Let simmer another 5 minutes then take the pan from heat.
3.In another pan or baking dish put the tongue and the souce over. Leave in the oven about 30 minutes.
4.Serve the dish with chopped cucumbers over.
